ISB Dinner

Salaam everyone!

Well, the dinner last night was pretty cool - met a lot of people who are interested in getting active!

Some people were from outside of Manchester, and inshAllah, perhaps we in Manchester can help support them set up stuff in their own localities - Blackburn was the furthest, but by far the most popular area seemed to be Heaton Mersey. We don't have much going on there - needs some consideration maybe.

As you can see if you scroll up, the study circle publicity is coming out and it should be a pretty cool one inshAllah. Well done to Zeenat for designing it.

Hmm, what else have I been up to? Well, my internet at home is down, and I'm writing this from an internet cafe, so I haven't had a chance to email all those girls that I met last night. This is something that is on my to do list - but I'm hoping that everyone comes to the study circle - we've got some pretty cool stuff planned, and you won't find out what if you don't come!

Pride and Prejudice

I finally found, after a long and patient search, the scripts for Pride & Prejudice (as well as Emma and Sense& Sensibilty among others). Perhaps if there's much interest we can finally stage a YMS production - or at least have auditions, which are the most fun part, and allow us all to proclaim the Darcy proposal speech.
